Small Business Development Conference 2009
The 2009 Small Business Development Conference, hosted by the National NEIS Association, Business Innovation and Incubation Australia, and Business Enterprise Centres Australia will be held from the 8th to the 11th of November 2009 at the Swiss grand Hotel and Spa at Bondi in Sydney. This year is the 12th year that these three organisations have joined together to present a high quality conference aimed at Business Facilitators. The theme of this year’s conference reflects the current global economic situation and is titled “Small Business....The Opportunities are Out There”.
The aim of the conference is to bring together all who have an interest in sustainable small business development with participants from all sectors of the profession across Australia and New Zealand. These include: NEIS providers, business development practitioners from the WA Small Business Centres, Business Incubators, and BECs. The 2009 conference is open to local and regional economic development practitioners, small business education organisations, commercial business advisors, government business advisory services and academics.
Specific NEIS themed sessions will be held on Monday 9th November, and a highlight of the conference will be the gala dinner on the evening of the 10th November which will feature the presentation of the 2009 National NEIS Association Business Awards which are proudly sponsored by AAMI.
